Excellent location for Biz and sightseeing. The breakfast provided by the hotel is valuable and the taste is good enough. Other than that, if the guest wants to have some vegitable or meat like ham turkey, then he/she can easily buy them fro Ralfs (Supermarket) which locates on 9th proxy distance. Also to LA Live (Staples Center / Nokia Plaza) on 10 min walk from the hotel and behind the place, LA Convention Center can be found easily. I should recommend this hotel for potential guests who seek hotel with reasonable room charge.
As is seen on the pic, The building is old but maintained properly. Amenities are very much environment friendly ppolicy applied. The policy must be reviewed and hope to have some other view for guest friendly policy
The location was fantastic. I found this hotel after having to do late registration for a convention -- the convention's hotels were all booked already, so I stayed here. It allowed me to walk and save on cabs.
The building is a bit run down in certain areas, and the continental breakfast was a bit pathetic. Internet wasn't wireless in the rooms, so you had to hook into the awkwardly placed ethernet cord.
The location is great. It is less than a block away from the Muni Rail and very close to major bus routes. Breakfast was nice as well and included juice, coffee, bagel, margarine, jam, frozen eggs, toast, milk, waffles and some fresh fruits.
The heating wasn't good and the rooms were a bit cold and we had small cockroaches in our room.
We used to trust the hotel rating online, but after this hotel our trust is gone! The room was so smelly we could hardly breath. We didn't exchange it because this was alredy the second room we received after complaining from the noice coming from the next building airconditioner. At that point we thought smelly is better than noicy and we paid the price!! The discusting smell even got into our clothes. Though they told us the breakfast was till 10.30 after 10 they simply said that it was closed. For years traveling around the world we were never so happy to leave a hotel we booked. It was horribLe experience !!!
Freandly staff, ready to help with any problems
Free breakfast, location, price.
The website is worded that the parking was included with the hotel. I was surprised to find it was not included and was an additional $11 per night. The hotel desk just shrugged it off as "yeah, I know they have the website worded wrong, we get that all the time.". The clerk directed me to the lot next door for $11 per night. We found out later that the lot across the street was only $6 per night and owned by the same company. I felt a bit cheated with that as well. For a 5 night stay this added quite a bit to our expenses that was unexpected.
Ritz Milner Hotel was in central down town in Los Angeles. Also it was near train station in seven street. It was near the subway bread shop. It was near the starline travel. The hotel enough good and the breakfast very-very good. The accomodation to the airport was easy. Waiting room was so good.
staffs are friends, breakfast is nice and lots of choice.
unfortunitly there is big noise for picking gabage every day monring at 6 am. rooms are very small.I booked single room with queen bed.
They had a great breakfast in the price
Very noisy and very small bathroom had trouble sitting on the toilet as the basin was in the road
Nothing to like. We will not stay on this hotel ever again.
Very poor service. We were shocked with the room that was given to us. I had to ask for a larger one when we saw it.
Would you please send me a link/email where I can make a complment
Location Huge room very well equiped Free Internet
there is noting good but location
Nice cosy and very near to MRT station (1 block away). have 24hrs fast food store next door. Staff is very helpful.
The shower room is very small.
Call it hotel is little bit absurd. The place is incredible: our room was so small that we cannot open one baggage, the window was blocked and no air can enter in the room, the smell was horrible : it seem never cleanded, the air conditioning was very very loudly and blocked at high temp so all the night we could not sleep, in restroom we have to put the cosmetic and tooth washing ..on the floor as no space, no air extraction on restroom, just two towels for two people. No car parking, no help, nothing. I can state that this was the worste worste place where I sleep in my life. Much better sleep under a bridge.
